Why half of the guys are wearing earrings?

What do you think about this new fashion in the USA? Why half of the guys are wearing earrings? Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t always look bad. But in my opinion gemstone earrings are rather reserved for girls. They are really gentle, precious and delicate (I mean the gemstone earrings, not girls) and they don’t really go along with the macho image of most of these men in the streets. Maybe it’s only my opinion, but why do they do it? I bet it hurts when somebody’s putting a needle in your ear. Do they want to impress girls? Or maybe that’s some sort of creating the identity with the group? Now question just to the ladies, do you really like these gemstone earrings in your boyfriends’ ears? Aren’t you afraid that after some time they are going to steel something from your jewelry boxes? Next time when you convince your man to buy a new set of earrings think about the consequences. Who knows what’s going to happen in half a year? Maybe he’s going to ask you if he can borrow your new pendant as it is going to really go along with his new boots.

Silver Earrings

In today’s British culture it is very common for children to get their ears pierced, some parents even get their babies ears pierced.  They then put some kind of earring or stud in the pierced ear. There are studs which contains small stones these are known as gemstones. Gemstone earrings are very colorful and bright and as the purpose of earrings is to emphasize the face these colors can be very helpful in decorating a person. The price of gemstone earrings is also low which means many people will buy them as the average person is unlikely to be able to afford real diamonds. But why do parents get their children's ears pierced so early. They have no idea if the child wants to be able to wear things like gemstone earrings. It is as if the parents are treating their baby or child like a toy that they can dress up. This seems morally wrong and stereotypes baby before they have a chance to grow up and make their own impression on the world.
Maybe there should be laws against such actions.
